A “Comp Conversation” with Michael Brennan

Brennan is the Chairman of the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission (IWCC). He was first appointed in 2019 and reappointed in 2023, and his tenure has included creating a paperless filing system and implementing virtual hearings. The IWCC is responsible for resolving claims, ensuring legal compliance, and administering self-insurance for the state.
