【The Day the Lord Will Crown Me】

When I think of the day the Lord will crown me,

Many rewards I’ll gain at Stage of Christ.

Light affliction is for my glo-ry.

Eternal, far beyond compare.

My heart’s lightened, from strength to strength.

My labour in the Lord’s not in vain.

Now I am strong; my heart’s gladdened.

You understand; You admire me.

My burden’s light, I can smile again.

To live for You— not in vain.

My rewards I desire to gain,

Despise all trails, run the race ahead.

Striving forward, press on toward the goal.

See the clouds in the sky. Hear now heaven’s applause.

I will pour out all my life for the Lord.

Strive till I rest in His bosom

Or see Him fact to face in the clouds.

No more tears, nor death, nor sorrow, nor crying.

What priceless treasure to live for the Lord.

Sweet memories last forever.

What a joy to lay my crowns before Your feet.

Render my all to You for Your true love,

For Your most amazing love to me.
