【You shall stay in the Lord’s gentle love, the light of His presence】

2 You shall stay in the Lord’s gentle love and the light of His presence,

Receive His gracious words, be fed by His loving kindness,

Attracted by Him, be away from the worldly cares,

Bound sweetly with the Lord, just two of us.

Chorus:

Stay before the Lord, to see His glory,

To be touched and transformed by the Spirit,

To draw near Him, and He will draw near You,

I desire most His presence with me.

3 You shall stay in the Lord’s gentle love and the light of His presence,

To talk with Him closely and sing to Him with my heart,

He is my friend whom I can share anything with,

I can share with Him the sweets and bitters of life, in love with Him heart to heart.
