Happy Halloween! Today, I have the pleasure of speaking with Eileen Hollis. Eileen is a funeral director at the Hollis Funeral Home in Syracuse, NY. At the beginning of the pandemic, Eileen started making Tik Tok videos, answering some of people's most relevant questions about, well... death. And she has been very successful at it, garnering over 700,000 followers and 11 million likes. Eileen has been de-stygmatizing the conversations about death in an industry that is seeing change in the wake of social media.

Kate Villevoye is a Dutch documentary filmmaker whose work has been seen all over the globe (which has had some interesting side effects, but more on that later.) I caught Kate's film, 12:15, a Vimeo staff pick made entirely with the Zoom platform. We chat the pandemic, bicycles, and wide gamut of other stuff. Enjoy.
