This week on Drive-In Double Feature with Ryan and Nathan we are talking about the 1974 film Dark Star. A space odyssey-style movie about a group of estranged men traveling around destroying planets. Dark Star is John Carpenters' first film and hopefully, the fellas enjoy it! 

This week's second feature film on Drive-In Double Feature with Ryan and Nathan is Golgo 13: The Professional from 1983. The journey of an assassin in a 007 like journey around the world. hunting his targets, but also becoming hunted himself. Golgo 13 is a stylistic anime out of the golden age of Japanese animation, but will the boys enjoy it?

This week on Drive-In Double Feature Nathan & Ryan watched cop from 1988 directed by James B. Harris and starring James Woods. James Woods is known for Salvador, Hades in Hercules, and many other roles. In Cop we follow a detective who is hunting after a serial killer murdering women around his home turf. It's a cop procedural with a hint of a maniac cop who will do anything to solve the case.

The second film at this week's Drive-In Double Feature is Wired from 1989. Bob Woodward's book was put on screen as an analysis of actor John Belushi's life. Michael Chiklis plays John Belushi. The trailer says it's the movie Hollywood does not want you to see. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Well, Ryan and Nathan have taken it upon themselves to investigate Wired by watching it in its rare availability right on YouTube.

The Trashy Boys have spun off into their new podcast Drive-In Double Feature. The first movie on this week's double feature is Communion from 1989 starring Christopher Walken and directed by Phillippe Mora. Based on the book of the same name, follows a man who has been abducted by aliens and relives the process through hypnosis. Communion is one of the wackiest experiences ever put on film with Christopher Walken in probably his craziest role.
