The City of Sydney recently donated one million dollars to OzHarvest for its new supermarket in Waterloo. David Barr talks to Richard Watson, New South Wales State Manager at OzHarvest about the valuable work they do to help to feed people who are suffering in these difficult times.  

Every year, millions of migratory birds fly between Australia and the Arctic Circle. For 4800 shorebirds, their 15.000 km journey ends in the Hunter Valley in NSW. But resting and roosting sites are being increasingly impacted by coastal development, sea-level rise and other disturbances. Artificial roosting sites help birds to migrate successfully.
