The topic of the week is Treason.  Making war against the states of the union, and the people.

And there is a LOT of it!  Which is not at all surprising; we've seen it for a long time.  But now, the House and Senate BOTH give the infamous 'middle finger' to even a pretense that the Constitution still matters.

Parsha "Acharei Mot" (Leviticus chapters 16 through 18) is the regular reading for this week, following the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  But we did take a look at that week, Mark decided to look at some of the 'common elements,' including statutes and ordinances that span the gap between chapters 18 and then 19, which begins parsha "Kedoshim."

The Erev Shabbat reading explains the rationale, and the understanding to 'be 'qadosh' [set-apart, or 'holy'] because "I AM" qadosh.

It is undeniable, when reading from the end of chapter 28 of Leviticus, and the fact that YHVH says that for committing these 'abominations' the land literally "vomited out" those inhabitants.  And then He then continues, that "YOU shall be set-apart, For I YHVH am 'qadosh.'

And looking at the news, and the fact that virtually EVERY SINGLE transgression and outright abomination He outlines is now being subsidized, taught in the cesspools, and even mandated as political correctness - AmeriKa, and most of the West, are due for judgment, if not extreme vomiting out.

What does that say to the rest of us?

David speaks often in his Psalms about being in the Temple or the House of the Lord. What structure is he talking about? The Temple of Solomon had yet to be built years later. What is David talking about? First of all, David was a worshiper of the highest order. The act of worship was more important to him than the place of worship. He often worshipped out in the wilderness or in the sheep pens. He knew how to come before his Heavenly Father and hear His voice of guidance and direction. And so it is with us today. The frequencies of Numbers chapter 7 are the guide to bringing us before our Heavenly Father - Creator - for that same guidance and direction that David sought centuries ago. We can come boldly before the throne of grace to hear the voice of our Father.
