Declan reacts to the 1-1 after Derry City draw with St. Patrick's Athletic at the Brandywell

Declan Devine seems focused more than ever to keep Derry City at the top end of the table. And this continues tomorrow night with the visit of St. Patrick's Athletic to the Brandywell (Live on Drive105 & online from 7.05pm).
Dermot Liddy got the views of the manager.
John Dunne, former Derry City Match Commentator with Drive105 and Online Video, sadly passed away peacefully on 2nd May 2019.
John was one of the original staff members of St Joseph’s Boys School in Creggan when it opened its doors for the first time in 1963, spending his entire career over more than 30 years at the school & was a well respected figure in the City, and raised the bar when it came to match commentary in the late 1980's first with Online Video, until retired from broadcasting in the mid 2000's with Drive105.

It was a comeback and a half for Declan Devines boys tonight after coming back from a 2 goal deficit to make it 2-2 at the final whistle.
Goals from Cole on the 69th Min and Eoghan Stokes converted penalty on 82' made sure Derry went back up the road to Derry with a point.

Derry fell to a third home defeat at the hands of Bohemians tonight. After 2 goals from Mandriou and Corcoran put an end to Derrys challenge on the night.
Dee Curran spoke to Declan Devine shortly after the final whistle.
Declan Devine's charges go in to Monday night's game at the Brandywell against Bohemians full of confidence and believes have earned the right to be playing games at this end of the table.

Derry have not beaten Cork City since 2016. Tonight put an end to that run with 2 goals from Eoin Toal and Jamie McDonagh. We have some match highlights plus Declan Devine chats to our man Patrick Cooke shortly after the final whistle
Declan Devine was very complimentary about his teams efforts so far this season, but tells us there is more to come. He also believes the Cork City fixture has a lot of history with the club, relating back to the Dyas of the Treble win at Dalymount in the FAI Cup, losing to Cork on the last of the season to come 2nd place.
