Derry City got off to a flying start in the FAI Cup on Saturday with a 2-12 battering of Blarney United. Scorer of two goals was Shane McNamee who was delighted to be picked for the team.

Kevin McLaughlin caught up with Shane shortly after the final whistle.

As Derry City prepare for the trip to Blarney a day before the FAI Cup fixture. Patrick Cooke caught up with Kenny SHiels tp get his views on the game.

Paddy McCourt & Mo Mahon today launched the recruitment drive for a Derry City U13 side. In what is a long term strategy with the club.

Paddy has a wealth of knowledge has played for Celtic, Finn Harps, Shamrock Rovers , Derry City and Northern Ireland.

He is joined by Mo Mahon Former Foyle Harps coach & B Licence holder and will be Asst manager to Paddy McCourt.
