Unfortunately, as a believer we are sometimes faced with the reality of unmet expectations. It NEVER feels good and especially looking back on the unmet expectations at the end of the year can cause you to get in a funk but WE REBUKE THAT! When you think of the word singleness, what comes to mind? Some people may think that singleness is a period that you are in, until you get into a relationship. Isn’t it so easy to forget all the things that God has done for you? There goes a song “you’ve been faithful Lord, from the ages past and that is why your name is forever more”. That song always comes to my spirit every now and then and it reminds me that God was good before and he certainly is still good now! No matter what you may be going through in your life, remember that God is still present in the midst of your struggles and that he didn’t bring you this far to forsake you! In our world, there are certain issues we deem as bigger than others! Some we feel that we should handle on our own and for me... driving was one of them! I had terrible anxiety with driving and I wanted to handle it by myself... However, after God allowed me to fall on my face, I ran to him and he delivered me from the spirit of anxiety and allowed me to pass my road test! I have found that the church talks more about avoidance of sexual immorality more so than sexual immorality itself... it’s just been “don’t do it” instead of here is why you shouldn’t. My prayer is that through this short episode it will encourage you to rise up to the occasion of purity because of the sake of your assignment and generation.

At Times We Love to Talk About the Highs of Christianity, but What About the Lows, What About the Countless Mistakes that We Make? There are times and seasons where we notice that we aren’t as on fire for God as we used to be... but man oh man, isn’t it hard to admit it? Not being on fire or being lackadaisical in our walk, is one of those things that we don’t discuss much in the church. However, throughout this episode I discuss the constant struggle and battle we face as Christians to not fall victim to our feelings, and to arise in prayer and maintain the fire!

Today I am mainly reaching out to young women especially within our culture who constantly state that they “have no friends” or cannot get along with the female species. Today, I share this episode in all humility, being that I am speaking from my experience but I am ultimately sharing this episode in hopes of inspiring a young woman out there to open her heart again to the idea of true sisterhood in Christ!
