When we drive so hard forward we often forget to look around us. It's easy to lose sight of how lucky and blessed we are. Continue to obsess and drive to higher levels as a player and as a person, but also find some time each day to reflect on how lucky you are. Writing down three things you are grateful for in the morning or before bed is a good place to start.

Swag is a great way to express yourself and play the game with passion and emotion, but we have to build a foundation first. The new cleats, the new bat, the new necklace doesn't do anything for us if we can't field and throw the ball at a high level. Make sure you're getting the correct order with these things. Foundation, then add swag. Be nasty first. Add the rest later.
