Will you survive or will we thrive in Babylon?

The resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith and the gospel of Christ. Without it, our vain is empty, vain, and powerless. Through the fulfilled word of Christ and the evidence of the empty tomb, we can confirm our faith in a Risen Savior.

Jesus has been prepared for His purpose, but now He is preparing His followers for that purpose and for what will follow after He has accomplished it. He is telling them that their purpose is just beginning and that their lives must be lived in anticipation of the fact that He is coming again.

As Jesus comes closer to fulfilling His purpose on earth, the opposition grows stronger. The closer you get to God's purpose for your life the stronger the opposition to it becomes. Preparation and growth always involve testing. We must choose to see testing with that purpose in mind.

Next-level following requires next-level faith. In Matthew 14-17, we see the contrast between those who responded with fear and those who responded with faith. The results are clear: When we respond in faith, God reveals Himself to us.
