I'm back, looking at Sofia Coppola's latest. A female focussed look at the civil war and a bunch more. Apologies for both me and the sound quality being a little rusty. Ratings system: Longneck of Melbourne Bitter - an excellent film. Sublimely entertaining, meaningful or both. Pint of Kilkenny - a very good, highly recommended film. Stubby of Reschs - a good film and worth your time. Schooner of Carlton Draught - Not great aye. But perhaps an interesting idea or two. Schooner of Tooheys New - Shithouse.

I take a look at the Aussie doco HOTEL COOLGARDIE, out now in limited release. I consider observational style documentaries as well as the role of the mining industry in Australia and the problematic culture that breeds.

I finally get to see WONDER WOMAN. I ponder what the film says about war, the fish out of water elements and Gal Gadot's performance.
