I wrote this song because I wanted to celebrate my favorite time of the year.

I’m just an Autumn soul, feeling so free,
 With the coolness of the air, it’s where I want to be.
 The roads are turning colorful, a breathtaking sight,
 As the leaves dance around in the warm, golden light.
 Crisp autumn breezes whisper through the trees,
 A symphony of colors carried on the breeze.
 I lift my hands to heaven, praising God above,
 For this special season, it’s wrapped in warmth and love.
 

I wrote this song as a rendition of Psalm 86:12. The first part of the song goes: 

I will sing to the Lord with my life each day,
 Lift my voice in the morning, find my way.
 A melody rising, as the sun breaks free,
 Singing praises to the One who’s always with me.
 I’ll sing a new song, from the depths of my soul,
 With joy in my heart, I’ll let His love take control.
 

I wrote this song for those whose loved one is going through the battle of cognitive decline.
