Have you ever had an encounter with Extra Sensory Perception? On today's edition of Unlocking Your Truth with Dr. Lesley Phillips we examine the use of an ESP test to analysis your psychic abilities.
Do you feel like you have experienced premonitions of some sort of telepathic occurrence? Well, maybe it is time for an ESP test. Many people have a belief in some sort of Extra Sensory Perception or ESP as it is more commonly called but generally, they do not take the time or have the drive to complete a psychic test to confirm it.
Then there are those that have claimed to have observed proof of some form of its existence. Are they telling the truth or have they fabricated their stories? Well, there may be documented scientific evidence that confirms these professed ESP events.
ESP Meaning
Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP) means perception not accounted for by the use of the known senses (e.g. events and communications that are independent of the visual, auditory, or any other sensory system). The study of such events (known collectively as PSI phenomena) is called parapsychology and the term parapsychology refers to the study of such events, known collectively as PSI Phenomena.
Here is another ESP definition for your consideration, ‘anomalous processes of information or energy transfer, processes such as telepathy… that are currently unexplained in terms of known physical or biological mechanisms’ (Bem & Honorton, 1994, p.4).
One of the examples people use to prove ESP presence is that of someone coming to mind and then the telephone will ring and low and behold it is the individual. Many have the tendency to discount these type of events putting their occurrence to coincidence.
Parapsychology also studies near-death experiences, synchronicity, reincarnation, apparitional experiences, and other paranormal claims. It is considered to be pseudoscience by a vast majority of mainstream scientists.
What Is An ESP Test?
Those studying parapsychology categorize ESP into 4 main types: Telepathy, Precognition, Clairvoyance, and Psychokinesis. There are different sorts of test such as Clairvoyant test, telepathy test, precognition test that can be taken to discover whether or not you have one or more of these wonderful gifts. These can be measured using various methods and tools such as precognition test cards which are the same as psychic test cards.
Precognition Tests - Ability to tune into future events. One can use Zener Cards, standard ESP test cards, to test this ability. These cards were created by the psychologist Karl Zener early in the 1930s. They contain symbols of a circle, square, star, plus sign, or 2 wavy-lines. The subject must predict which card will come up next. This is done on a computer with a randomization algorithm, or by hand with a physical deck that is shuffled. The options are already known ahead of time.
Telepathy Tests - Non-verbal communication. Uses photographs, drawings, or objects The sender views the photograph or object and transmits the idea of it to the receiver, who has no prior knowledge of what might be transmitted. Then they compare the answers to a chance occurrence. Both Tests can also use numbers or colors to transmit or guess.

Parapsychology demands real-time measurable results. Though possible, much of our ability to manifest, change and heal takes time to show up in our time, space, and reality.
