Our next Techno Minded Hero is a true legend. He has been around since the early 90s and has been an inspiration for many with an well deserved reputation as a producer’s producer.

This DJ/Producer from New York started producing pure, minimalist analogue-minded techno in the vein of early Plastikman and Joey Beltram around the mid 90s. Releasing on labels such as Synewave, Novamute, Probe, Fine Audio Recordings and his very own label Proper NYC.

His sample libraries have been featured in many leading publication. Specifically, his Locked Groove series Proper’s Grooves was picked by Future Music magazine as one of their all time top 5 sample collections. In short, his sound is second to none and has been sought out by the best in the industry, time and time again.

A big thanks to Nina de Koning for her great set. We really enjoyed it! To keep yourself updated about Nina check out her Facebook and Soundcloud page.

On this edition we are going back to Spain, this talented Dj / Producer is part of Oscar Mulero’s Polegroup family, and the last 10 to 15 years he has risen to international fame and destroyed dance-floors all over the world with his partner in crime Tensel as Exium.

In 2013 he started his own label Granulart Recordings, mainly focusing on the more deeper side of techno. Influenced with dub and classical Detroit, with 1 clear mission to release timeless techno by himself and others. it is definitely worth to have a look on his website: http://granulart.es/. It’s already a great catalog containing some priceless jewels.

Also worth mentioning is that Polegroup just released there POLEGROUP 5YRS vinyl record box, which contains one of his tracks and give a nice view of what they have been doing for the past 5 years. And nice to mention, if you are in or around Berlin Friday the 13th of May, you can see him perform together with Jeroen Search, Reeko and Mischa at Tresor Meets Polegroup. So go and check him out!

First off, a big thanks to Dying for his great set. What an incredible journey!

Welcome to the Drone Podcast. This time we stay home in our beloved Amsterdam for this young and talented Dj / Producer. We are glad to have the second female Techno Minded Hero on the show. She is a well known underground Dj in and around Amsterdam, and is not shy too work hard. Her sound is dark, analogy raw, with an Acid edge, which you can find in her productions as well in her Dj sets.
She first caught our attention through a gig she did at the legendary Ruigoord Amsterdam! So we thought we’ll invite her to do a podcast for Drone Existence.

At the end of this month you can see her play together with Techno Minded Hero Justin Timmers on Zwart Gat at club Arcade Eindhoven!

We hope you will enjoy this weeks podcast with Nina de Koning!

Please enjoy!

A big thanks to our last Techno Minded Hero, Liebeskind for his great set!
