It was our pleasure to interview Glen Lynch, CEO of Volatus Aerospace, at the Commercial UAV Expo. Volatus is a publicly traded global player in the drone industry, serving both civil and defense markets. One of the important challenges highlighted by Glen is the fragmented state of the industry and the lack of standardization and consolidation. However,  adoption is growing tremendously, and drones are being used by first responders and for public safety. Drones are also gaining momentum in the farming industry and precision agriculture, allowing for a healthier and more profitable environment where waste is reduced. It is clear that adoption and use cases are growing and the good news is that adoption is leading to more adoption!
