The fear of commitment is a shadow that looms over meaningful relationships, decisions and ultimately:

Our successes in life long-term.

This shadow strikes hardest when we are closer to fulfilling the true yearning inside our hearts.

In fact the greater the resistance, the higher likelihood that it will fulfil your needs, purpose & growth.

I've learnt in my relationship:

The harder it strikes, the more it truly meets your needs, and that person is deeply in love with you.

The closer we come to breakthrough.

To fulfilling our deepest yearnings within.

The harder the shadow will strike you.

It grips, holds, pulls, pushes and does anything it can subtlety; in an attempt to keep you back.

Back from experiencing again what hurt you, what let you down and failed you before.

But it also doesn’t allow meaningful relationships to flourish, it limits your success and impact on others.

The shadow is pain, evidence and energy of something anchored in the past, preventing a future opening of greater fulfilment & prosperity.

I’ve moved through the full spectrum of grief, shame and everything in-between with this shadow.

I still work with this fickle bastard to this day.

But the best part is you can overcome it, and when you do life opens up in all domains. 

You can’t skip the process, what is repressed will return.

New level, new devil.

The good news is you can overcome this to thrive.

Men are allowed to have wayward emotions.

But to what point & for how long until it controls his life?

Confidence is when you know how to communicate & emotionally regulate yourself as a man.

In relationship, you can do one or two things:

1. React, overthink, overanalyse, disconnect.

2. Regulate, hold space, communicate, connect.

There is NO neutrality in intimacy with your woman, or your purpose in the world.

You're either connecting or disconnecting.

In this episode I vulnerable openly up and explore the landscape with you.

In almost 13 years as a full-time entrepeneur working intimately people.

With a string of epic highs and crushing lows.

As a married man in a healthy relationship.

With long trail of relationship troubles, heartbreak & lessons.

As a father-to-be, a friend, and mentor to many.

IDEA:

Your Communication & Articulation is The Highest Value Asset.

STORY:

I’ve been so far out of balance with myself, that I've lived most of my life from childhood with hypervigiliance. Today it is my power, but not so long ago it was my prison.

It lead me to an identity crisis, in the midst of heartbreak; without the skills to get me right. I was so highly attuned to the thoughts, emotions, non-verbal communication and energy of others. That I was running my own life outside my own frame, without control.

What I did learn from these anxious years of my life, is just HOW important it is to get our communication with others on point. Because I got to deeply understand human behaviour.

I could sense what people were going through, I could see into the nature of their thinking, and I did everything I could to assist others (whilst betraying myself) to tend to their thoughts & emotions.

This was actually a healthy response to an unsafe inner child. But when it came to being in alignment with my own thoughts, emotions, needs, values and word. I was actually losing personal power.

Healing and deeply understanding myself, allowed me to become a fluent communicator, with a greater depth of empathy to understand other people.

This is the most important thing to note because all human beings long to be seen and understood on deeper levels.

Most of us listen to people to respond, but those who are masters of communication, understand that good communication is actually good listening.

I came to learn first hand that:

Good Communication Is The Bridge.

Between Clarity and Confusion.

Clear is kind, unclear is unkind.

And Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony - Ghandi

The predicament is that money means so much to all of us, and It’s actually an easier game, than it often feels.

Our relationship to money determines the quality of our life (whether we like that or not).

In this explorative conversational episode I sit down with wealth coach and owner of StrategiQ advisory Ryan Bultitude.

He is a certified practising accountant and registered financial advisor, with a healthy business, partnerships and a property portfolio.

When it’s really in check and able to flow, you will prosper.

The outcome at the end of the day is a life you love, doing things you love doing, with freedom from money concerns.
