The first episode of Drop In/Drop Out for 2019 has arrived and it's likely far too bloated.
On this week's show, we talk about all of the year's biggest news stories so far including that of Bungie and Activision splitting, Ubisoft and The Division 2 on PC, and even bemoan what is happening with the Alien license.
After tackling the news, we then play everyone's favorite game "These Are 2019's Video Games!!" Basically, we run down the upcoming year's releases and give our thoughts on all of the major games that are slated to launch in this calendar year. We also discuss whether titles like Metroid Prime 4, DOOM Eternal, and The Last of Us Part II will end up launching in 2019 even though they currently don't have release windows. It's a fun albeit quick look at what the forthcoming year could bring.
Here are this week's biggest topics:
Bungie and Activision Break Up, Destiny Rights Remain with Bungie
The Division 2's PC Release on Epic Games Store
Alien: Blackout's Announcement for Mobile Devices
Looking forward to All of 2019's Releases
You can find Drop In/Drop Out on iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify, in addition to listening natively on Podbean. If you have time to leave a review on any of those platforms, it’d really help us out greatly.
Thanks to HTML for allowing us to use their song “Liquor Store” as the opening theme of the show. You can find their music over on Bandcamp.
Also, be sure to follow Drop In/Drop Out, DualShockers, and this week’s guests to keep up with us all moving forward.
