It's Ayla's (Gisele's horse) birthday today!  Happy 17th!

Andy tells a story about an enlightening conversation he had with a cashier at the local drug store.  The story alludes to things you use to be able to do that you can't really do any more.

Human's have two important and often opposing desires.  One is the desire for security and the other a desire for adventure.

As we age and desires, interests and perhaps physical abilities change we have a tendency to gravitate toward security and away from adventure. 

Gisele talks about how riding her horse has changed over the 17 years and now that both her and her horse are a bit older.  We then use that as an analogy to think about our only person life and growth journeys.
