Drop The Dice

The Buss makes a guest appearance while Alfie is away. The boys dive into mechanics and theme and their thoughts on the importance of each

We were lucky enough to have been sent copies of The Martian Investigations from indie designer Robin David. This is our discussion of that game as well as a discussion about our short layover with Rico.

The boys take a look at the expansive topic of rules explanations and RIco takes on the challenge of explaining a game in five minutes

The boys talk about starting a board game club, how Catan has entered the mainstream and what games work great for two and what works great for six players.

The boys take a look at the games that everyone seems to love but they don't, and some games that they love, but everyone else doesn't.

We time travel back as we talk about the best games to take travelling before Rico goes on holiday. This of course recorded before he had already gone and returned from holiday.

The Drop the Dice crew dives deep into one of their favorite topics, DICE. Then Alfie and Rico get into numerous legal debates.

the boys celebrate Rico coming home for a few hours. Also everyone learns Last Will

The guys take a timed challenge as they have five minutes each to discuss their top ten favorite games of all time. Then they each choose a mechanic they love right now and talk about some of their favorite examples.

Rico's number one game of the year hits the table for the rest of the Drop the Dice Crew. Listen and find out if they feel the same.
