My first interpretation of a medieval polyphonic piece. The Agincourt Carol (sometimes known as "Deo Gratias Anglia") is a English choral composition in 3 parts which commemorates the battle of Agincourt in 1415.

The first track from my forthcoming EP "Calls from the Wood". Based on "Italian Rant" from Playford's Dancing Master (1651) , this is a renaissance tune re-imagined as a midnight forest dance with flute, tambourine, gittern (a small antique lute) and deep bass.
