How do you show the glory of a cow? 

Trim hooves, white spots bright and clean. Tail brushed and fluffy. Coat clipped and groomed and blow dried! In John 17 we see Jesus praying for his glory, you can find out what that means and why that’s for our good by listening to the talk below and you can read John 17:1-5 here.

Have you ever thought it would be great to travel back 2000 years to see Jesus doing the miracles? Or what about if Jesus was on earth now performing the miracles? Wouldn’t that be great? As you wake up this morning and maybe open some presents, eat some food, pull some crackers, do you ever wonder what’s it all about?! Why do we bring trees into our houses and put lights outside?! What about the decorations? It’s not always clear, but Christmas is about adoption into God’s family as our reading last night from Galatians 4 showed us, you can read it here:

4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. 5 God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. 6 And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” 7 Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child.  And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Last night we had a wonderful service in a beautifully decorated church building in Larah, a fantastic choir and a great crowd. Thank-you to everyone who made the evening so enjoyable and helpful.
