In this episode of ‘The Life Fit Podcast’, I chat with my fellow Corkonian Daniel Twomey. Daniel is the founder of DTWellbeing and a PhD Researcher of Wellbeing in Trinity College Dublin. He has previously worked as a teacher and university lecturer of Physical Education and is qualified in both Personal Training and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
Having suffered severely with his own mental health during his twenties, he dedicated himself to developing the skills to manage stress and anxiety so that they don't affect his life anymore. His passion is to pass on these tools and help others who may be struggling with their own physical and/or mental health.
In this conversation, we cover a variety of topics such as ‘connectivity’, ’positive & negative lifestyle cycles’, ‘instant vs delayed gratification’, ‘the power of habits’, and much much more. As always, we also share many tips, tricks & hacks that you can start implementing and practicing today to help you in your journey through life.
