Burnley's 1-0 win against Leeds at Elland Road moved them into fourth place, just behind Blackburn, with Watford and Sheffield United completing the playoff spots. Leeds, suffering their first loss of the season, dropped to ninth. Hull, Portsmouth, and Cardiff are in the relegation zone, though the gap to safety is just three points up to 12th place. In League One, Wrexham leads, despite Stockport drawing their last two games, with Charlton and Huddersfield moving ahead of Stockport. Leyton Orient secured their first win against Reading but remain in 22nd, with Shrewsbury, Cambridge, and Bolton also in the relegation spots. Huddersfield and Wigan each enjoyed 4-0 wins over Bolton and Bristol Rovers, respectively. In League Two, Accrington Stanley is still searching for their first win after a loss to Crewe Alexandra, while Gillingham slipped to second place behind Notts County despite a recent win. Big Sam came down with COVID-19, but fear not; Graham gets it done with the Young Hot Freshness, Hiram. The guys open with the North London and Marriage ending derbies as Arsenal and Villa were victorious. Liverpool suffer their first defeat, and City keep cruising behind Haaland scoring. Chelsea and United get wins while they still try to figure out who clubs like Palace, Brighton, and Fulham are. Everyone was in different locations, so there was a bevy of beverages.

It’s the great transfer recap show, but first the Sam’s open with Everton’s epic collapse at home to Bournemouth, coupled with Big Sam having to give praise to Liverpool and their demolition of Man U. They discuss the early contenders for Europe with Brighton, Villa and Newcastle all getting big results. Saints own possession but get owned again, Haaland scores another hat trick and who is Chelsea? Then, the tradition of the drunk transfer recap changes a little, as Producer Mel gets baked and tackles the list.
The Sam’s enjoy Nikka’s From the Barrel, which is the number 1 whiskey from Whisky Advocates in the top 20 of 2018.
