Jokic vs SGA: The MVP Race Isn't As Close As You Think
The national media wants to make the 2026 NBA MVP race a debate — but is it actually one? SGA is having one of the most efficient scoring seasons we've ever seen from a guard, and the Thunder are the best team in the league. That case is real.
But Jokic is averaging a legitimate triple double — 27 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists — and is on pace to become the first player since Wilt Chamberlain to lead the league in both rebounds and assists. He's doing it with a depleted roster, lower usage, and a front office that's given him almost nothing to work with.
When Jokic sits, Denver's offense disappears. When SGA sits, OKC keeps winning. That gap tells you everything.
In this video I break down the on/off numbers, usage rates, and why the "best player on the best team" argument doesn't hold up when one guy is carrying a broken roster to a top-4 seed.

Should the Celtics trade Jason Tatum? 🤔 Here’s why I think it might be time.
The Celtics are on fire this season, and no one saw this run coming. With the way they’re playing, I can’t help but wonder if it’s time to shake things up.
Jason Tatum has been phenomenal, no doubt, but what if the Celtics could leverage his value for a bigger haul? 🏀 Imagine creating more cap space and flexibility while still being competitive with Jaylen Brown leading the charge.
Jaylen has stepped up in ways we didn't expect. He’s proven he can carry the team. Why not consider trading Tatum and building around Brown? It’s a bold thought, but with the right deal, it could put the Celtics in a better position for future success.
What do you think? Are we crazy for even considering this?
Let’s talk about it in the comments!
