Welcome back to The Fatherless Cheat Sheet! In today’s episode Andrew is joined by early stage investor and entrepreneur, Wade Belair! They talk about the importance of a B.S detector when working with brands, Wade’s coming out stories, and the duality of a tough but loving dad.
About Wade:
Wade Belair is a New Yorker, educated in Economics and Entrepreneurship and a strategic investor who works with celebrity-talent driven brands, hospitality groups developing nightlife venues in NYC, a distillery and hotel in upstate NY, and more. Wade is launching a fund to help likeminded people from all backgrounds to invest in opportunities sourced by his team. Wade’s been called a connector; putting people together to help them do incredible things is a passion of his. After growing up in a WASPy upbringing struggling with identity, he found the courage to come out. Wade self-describes himself as the ‘gay best friend who gives straight women the best advice on straight men’ because he lived and loved as one earlier in his life. He hopes most of all to lend strength to others to help them to be all of the things that they are.
The Fatherless Cheat Sheet, hosted by Andrew Parise, is about everything you wish a father (or father figure) could have shown you. Growing up without a dad taught Andrew that chasing "what could have been" is never the answer.
