Dan Ring from Foundry gave me some fascinating insights into the world of the technology behind movies and high end TV which augments and supports the creative artist. Foundry has been developing creative software for the Digital Design, Media and Entertainment industries for over 20 years, manifested in breath-taking visual effects sequences on a wide range of feature films, video-on-demand, television and commercials. Dan’s role as Head of Research puts him at the cutting edge, blending the worlds of the possible with what can be done right now.
