A brand new week is underway, which means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new episode to help you ease back into work life after another round of practice retirement. On today’s show, the guys looked at Devan Dubnyk's comments from the DFO Rundown, the Oilers goaltending situation, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off today’s podcast, the guys got started with another acknowledgment of Chalmers being back in the studio after another mini hiatus. With that out of the way, the guys got the podcast started with a look at Devan Dubnyk's comments on Nail Yakupov from the DFO Rundown and how the goaltender suggested in no uncertain terms that the former first overall pick was not his favourite teammate. Sticking with the Oilers, the guys then spent the next few minutes gushing about Zach Hyman's game and how he is the exact type of player that this city loves based on his effort and tenacity. The guys then tackled the goaltending situation and how we would split the starts over the next little bit as it's clear that Stuart Skinner is the better option in net right now. From there, the podcast fell off the rails a little bit as the guys discussed their favourite podcasts and TV shows that ranged from Chalmers' crush on Will Arnett to Tyler's love of Arrested Development. Lastly, the guys wrapped up the Monday episode of Real Life with a random collection of topics, including the World Cup, beer prices in Qatar, and a whole lot more.
