This week we made a special episode produced by both classes. We tried to level up our episode by creating new puppets, doing a top five list of our favourite events from 2025, reporting on the new recycling rules, and added a round table response to our chapter book of the week. We also interviewed our friend Chris Chitaroni, a videographer who came in to teach us about lighting techniques and interviewing skills. We hope you enjoy it!

In the final episode of 2025, we talk about the holiday market at our school, discuss different festivals of light, read from The Book of Holiday Awesome, challenge you to make a tiny hat,, and tell you about a response we received to our project of sending cards to seniors.

We talk about the Remembrance Day Assembly, interview videographer Chris Chitaroni, teach you about keeping your water bottle clean, present the first chapter of The Case of the Rigged Race, and challenge you to try the Skills Ontario Junk Drawer Race Car Contest!

This week was episode 10 of Duck Bites. We did an interview with Owen Cook of the Rideau Historical Society. This week's challenge is to read more books. We read a book called Mr. Lemoncello’s library by Chris Grabenstein. We made a video on little free libraries! We talked about the Remembrance Day assembly in current events.

This week was episode 9 of Duck Bites. We talk about Halloween Week and the Pumpkin Drop in current events.We do an interview with Chuck Gruchy of the Rideau Historical Society. We read a book called I Survived the Nazi Invasion 1944 by Lauren Tarchis. We made a video on what we did at the Archives, and introduce you to four local veterans we researched. This week's challenge is to use a website to look up a grave, like we did with our veterans.

This week was episode 8 of Duck Bites. We did an interview with Ellen Adamson of the Rideau Historical Society. This week's challenge is to research the Virtual War Memorial. We read a book called The Trenches by Jim Eldridge. We made a video on what we did at the Archives, and introduce you to four local veterans we researched. We talked about The Halloween Dance in current events.

This week was episode 7 of Duck Bites. We did an interview with Pino Buffone, the OCDSB Director of Education. This week's challenge is that we had to make a 67 pumpkin. We read a book called Ghost Collector. We made a video for safety tips for Halloween. We talk about cross country in current events.
