On this episode of the Dude Drives Cars podcast, a suffering-with-the-man-cold Matthew the Car Guy talks about experiencing the glitz and glamour of a Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. What were some of the big sellers? Matthew fills you in while he also speculates on big-money cars headed for the block in the next few years.
Also on the show, we talk about last week's drive in the 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, busting rocks and flattening sand in the Valley of Fire just outside of Las Vegas. With a disconnecting sway bar, locking front and rear diffs, and an integrated Warn winch, it proved itself to be a great offroad bruiser.
A Dude Drives Cars podcast wouldn't be complete without some carping about NASCAR ... so Matthew the Car Guy weighs in on the new-for-2017 rulebook, including a look at the segments (heat races) that'll make up this year's Daytona 500.

Also on the show, we consider the decision made by Carl Edwards to step away from NASCAR. What were his reasons? Why now? And who will step into the #19 at Joe Gibbs Racing? Plus: Matthew talks about his week in the 2017 Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve.

Thanks for joining Dude Drives Cars as we drove, travelled, and oversteered our way through 2016. On our last podcast of 2016, Matthew the Car Guy takes us through some highlights of the year, including the car which surprised him the most and which one turned his grin meter to eleven (hint: it's not the same car).
We would like to send best wishes to all our listeners and hope you have a wonderful 2017 filled with fast cars and tire smoke, not slow cars and engine smoke. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram as we roll into a new year. Cheers!
Thanks for checking out the Dude Drives Cars podcast! Today on the show, Matthew the Car Guy talks about his week in the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline, making a buying recommendation and offering more than a few opinions along the way.
We also take a look at the excellent Forza Horizon 3, a virtual driving game available now on the Xbox One console. This latest iteration of the open-world driving concept from the boffins at Turn 10 Studios heralds a return to the lively and immersive world of the original entrant in the Forza Horizon series, making players feel like they're actually part of a massive car-themed party. Plus: some thoughts on the upcoming F1 season, with a breakdown of the new tire rules for 2017.

Welcome to the Dude Drives Cars podcast! Thanks for riding with us. On today's podcast, we'll be talking about our time spent in the 2017 Nissan Rogue. Opted with the beautiful Platinum Reserve interior package (for a mere $500!), the Rogue makes a compelling argument for itself.
We've also been driving a Mazda 3 Sport in GT trim ... with a manual transmission! Yes, Virginia, you can get a well optioned hatchback with a stickshift. The 2.5-litre inline-four provided many grins, particularly in third gear at 3500rpm. Fun matters.
Also on the podcast: a look back at the 2016 F1 season and the bombshell decision of newly-crowned champion Nico Rosberg to retire five days after winning the whole thing. Be sure to check out DudeDrivesCars.com and find our content on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram.
Thanks for joining the Dude Drives Cars podcast! Today we're celebrating the awesome achievement of Jimmie Johnson and his Hendrick team. By winning his seventh championship, JJ burns rubber into the pages of history and joins hotshoes such as Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
Also on the show: VW won't be offering diesels to Canadian customers for the 2017 model year, and we take a look at the 2017 Acura MDX Elite. With a vastly improved front fascia and a 3.5L V6 with 290hp, this seven passenger luxury crossover aims to coddle its occupants.

Hey, everyone! Thanks for joining us on the Dude Drives Cars podcast. This week, Matthew the Car Guy has been driving the new-for-2017 Ford Escape, in the Titanium trim package with all-wheel drive. Small crossovers are the bread and butter of many automakers, and Ford is no different. Over the last seven days, two different neigbours asked: "This? Or a CR-V?" There's only one way to find out.
Also on the podcast, we take a look at some of the scheduled reveals at the upcoming L.A. Auto Show, from the long-wheebase Porsche Panamera to the fantastically named Alfa Romeo Stelvio. We wrap up with a look at the NASCAR championship with only two races remaining in the season.

Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out the Dude Drives Cars podcast. This week, we talk about driving trucks in Texas. First, we head to the Texas Motor Speedway for a firsthand look at the all new 6.6L Duramax Diesel from the folks at Chevrolet. Ride along as we blast around the oval in a burly 3500 High Country Dually with a 10,000lb trailer in tow.
Then, it's off to the famous Southfork Ranch just outside of Dallas where we sample the 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. Bolder than a bbq pitmaster's special Mesquite sauce, the unique style and prodigious power of the Rebel makes Crocodile Dundee look like Liberace. The Ewings would definitely approve.

Welcome to the Dude Drives Cars podcast! In the next half hour you'll hear Matthew the Car Guy offer his take on Chrysler's attempt to take their minivan offering waayyy up the food chain. Can it play with the fully loaded Odysseys and Siennas of the world? How intuitive are the touchscreen games for rear seat kiddos? Let's find out.
Also on the show, VW has introduced a jacked up Golf wagon called the Alltrack. Does this mean that, in light of the diesel debacle, they are tacking towards a new market segment? Subaru has dominated the tall, all-wheel drive wagon segment for thirty years. Now it appears VW wants a slice of that Birkenstock-shaped pie.
Plus: NASCAR fails many in Chicago post-race inspection while the F1 circus rolls into its final leg of their season. Find Dude Drives Cars on Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram.
Hi everyone! Thanks tremendously for listening to this week's podcast for Dude Drives Cars. On this week's episode, Matthew the Car Guy introduces an interesting new Nissan while waving goodbye to the young Dodge Dart. After a short 4 year, 4 month life, the entry-level car with a gunsight grille and racetrack tail lights sees the end of its production.
Also on the show, Matthew previews the NASCAR Chase and talks about the bevy of racing on tap for this upcoming weekend. And, oh yeah, he won a brand new set of rims for his Charger; he might mention that too. #WinnerWinner
