Elaine is Bridget and Liz's mum, who also immigrated from New Zealand to the United States. Growing up in New Zealand was a dream come true, and she was very involved in ballet, as well as being on a children's TV show called, "Carrot Top's Songbook". She taught ballet at Rick's College (now BYU-I), got married, lived in American Samoa and is the best mum and grammy.

Bridget had a very hard and scary pregnancy and birth with her second. She was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and preeclampsia, resulting in her son being born prematurely at 34 weeks and staying two weeks in the NICU. Today, we go over her birth story with him.
