Duke defended home in more than one way Wednesday night as the Blue Devils held the Fighting Irish to a mere 53.
Offensively, there weren't any real standout performances from Duke, but when you're playing defense as well as the team did tonight, the offense comes secondary.
Also in this episode, we talk more about the frequent fouling of Kyle Filipowski and how it could seriously harm Duke down the road.
We also continue our conversation around the aggressiveness of Tyrese Proctor and how his shot number going up could really take the lid off of this Duke offense.

Duke suffered a loss at the hands of UNC at the Dean Dome and there have been a lot of reactions (and over reactions) to the game.
We here to break it all down: the good, bad, and the ugly in this disappointing performance from the Blue Devils. We'll talk specific player performances: who played well and who played bad? Including a discussion around what a "bad game" looks like for Kyle Filipowski. Also, let's answer the question: what more can Tyrese Proctor do to get Duke over the hump?
All of this and more in the latest episode of Duke Blue Central.

Today we are breaking down two massive Duke Basketball victories!
First, Duke pulled off a clutch performance to defat the Clemson Tigers at home. We'll breakdown who played well and yes, we'll also talk about the "controversial" foul call at the end of the game.
Then we move on to a pretty impressive Duke performance at Virginia Tech, especially considering all that surrounded the game.

This was a much closer game than anticipated; especially with the injuries that Duke had to deal with.
Duke showed some major guts to pull this victory out of the mud. Georgia Tech, a team not known for their shooting. ended up shooting 55% from three on the night which was a big equalizing factor for them throughout the game.
With how many ranked teams have struggled with unranked opponents this week, I for one am just happy Duke is coming out with a win.

Duke smashed Pitt on Tuesday night in a game that wasn't competitive for very long. The star of the show was Duke's Kyle Filipowski who had what I would argue was one of his best games as a Blue Devil.
It was an all around dominating performance for Duke who moves to 12-3 on the season.

Duke didn't play too well against Notre Dame, but still picked up a nice road win over an ACC opponent thanks in large part to Mark Mitchell and Jeremy Roach.
In this episode we're talking the good, the bad, and the ugly in this win over the Fighting Irish.

This game is a tough one too break down as Duke looked like two different teams from the first half to the second half, but we're here to break it down anyway!

In this episode of Duke Blue Central we'll be going over how Duke Nation should feel heading into the official start of ACC play. We've had some ups and downs, but seem to be a time on the rise, but how will our early season struggles affect our seeding in potential tournaments?
We're also going to be ranking every team in the ACC based on what we have seen thus far in the season. How have the rankings shifted? Which teams have disappointed? Impressed? Listen to find out!

Duke had an impressive win over the Hofstra Pride to start getting their season back on track. Kyle Filipowski was the highlight, but perhaps the biggest question for this Duke squad is can they produce a win like this against a great team? Time will tell.

Duke dropped a very winnable game to an Arkansas Razorbacks team that was missing arguably their best player.
It was by far Duke's most disappointing outing of the season as their earlier loss to Arizona is looking better and better by the day.
Duke never found it's flow offensively and struggled tremendously from 3 point range; both of which are becoming very real (and very scary) thorns in this teams side.
Jeremy Roach and Kyle Filipowski were Dukes best players tonight, and even with a heroic last few minutes, could not muscle out a win.
In this episode we talk about what went wrong in tonights game as well as go over some very unfortunate truths that are a result of tonights final score.
Time to take our medicine.
