Eric Simms, Man Slapped by WWE Hall OF Famer The Iron Sheik, Back in the News for Using Mantaur's Death to Promote Wrestling Convention

Eric Simms, the man who was slapped by WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik in a viral video, is back in the news for using the death of wrestler Mantaur to promote a wrestling convention.

Simms, who is a promoter of the convention, asked fans on Facebook who should replace Mantaur at the convention since he is dead. This post sparked outrage from wrestling fans and wrestlers alike, who accused Simms of being disrespectful to Mantaur's memory.

Simms seems to be skilled at finding himself in Controversy through the years, with no end in sight. In 2007, he was banned from WWE events after he was accused of selling counterfeit merchandise. He has also been criticized for his promotion of wrestling conventions, which some fans have said are overpriced and poorly run.

The latest controversy surrounding Simms has led to calls for him to be banned from the wrestling industry altogether. It remains to be seen whether Simms will face any consequences for his actions, but his latest stunt has certainly damaged his reputation.
