KMS (Kings Music Sessions) in collaboration with LDMM (Lang De Moun Mon) bring you THE SOUND OF SOUL BORN MUSIC, live music recording hosted by drummer KingKhetiwe, complete with soulful meals prepared by Haitian-American super chef and LDMM founder Kerline Astre.
He moved to Johannesburg to learn piano theory and ended up majoring in Popular music, following his passion for jazz and other forms of contemporary music. He has written music, played the piano and worked with the It Has To Be Jazz composer collective.
Since then, he’s collaborated with an array of musical groups, including Bhambatha, Siphokazi, Zulu Boy, L8 Antiques, and Malcolm Jiyane. He has performed in festivals all over the world, such as North Sea Jazz and Roskilde, as well as local festivals like Oppikoppie, Joy of Jazz, Jazz on The Lake, Moshito Music Conference, and Bassline Fest.
