Think you need a full educational background on tech in order to know about it and be successful? Think again!
In this episode we chat with Caroline Holden, Founder and CEO of HomeSurfin a social real estate app. Caroline came from an eclectic career background but built an incredible wealth of knowledge of the tech world along the way, leading her to leave her full time job to build this company. From starting her professional career as an aspiring film maker and freelance comedian, to working full time at a venture capital firm and spending lots of time with startups, Caroline is a perfect example of how all you really need in order to be successful in the tech industry is a lot of drive and interest on the topic. Caroline talks about how it all started when she began reading the news, and how that simple habit got her all the way up to building her own tech company.
Listen in if you want to learn more about how to use reading as a resource to build up your knowledge of the industry in order to break into tech. Let's dumb this down!
