DUNE 1984. This is a vault bonus episode! Tony and Jen guide us through the miasma of this David Lynch miscue, while Phil and Annaliesa augment the chat with enlightened deliberation. I give these kudos specifically because I sat there completely catatonic with only the occasional caustic contributions. 

We recorded this conversation on October 3, 2020. I would say we were holding it for just such an occasion, the eve of a new Dune incarnation. And one that hopefully won’t suffer the same turgid fate (my opinion) as its predecessor, as it will be told in two parts.

The truth is that the thought of editing this was something wholly overwhelming for me until now. So here it is, with a light, cursory edit. I think you’ll really enjoy the sincere effort and collaborative conversation about such a storied and hotly contested cinematic saga. Please do yourself a favor, and make sure to research/see the 2013 Jodorowsky's Dune documentary.
