In Jeremiah 38  Jeremiah is thrown into a cistern but is also helped by a man called Ebedemelch

In this passage Jeremiah is speaking to the people who have gone into exile in Babylon and he gives them instructions about how they are to live in a foreign land as His people. Jeremiah 29
