Dungeons & Degrees

This episode talks about a bit much. The gang revels in having in another Red Raider in the chat.  Adrian and Alex talk to John about his past with D&D.  Then the conversation talks about creating a stat sheet for yourself in real life and then how can we use this sheet to fight your demons. Also, Adrian leans how to reduce noise halfway through editing. Does it make a difference? We will find out!

This time the duo decides to talk with Adrian's player Dave. They talk about a turning moment when the game became more RP heavy and the reaction to that defining moment. They head into a conversation about how D&D is currently changing Curse of Strahd and how a new generation sees a little 'ol place called Hogwarts. The funk has taken over Alex and Adrian as they figure out how to get rid of it. Adrian talks about how the funk has destroyed one of his games and the sadness that comes with it. Bring your tissues. Alex gives out ways she has dealt with the funk. Ol' Gregg is definitely talked about in this episode for a bit.

Adrian yammers on about his Curse of Strahd game and then Alex tells the audience to bribe him with gifts. They talk about accepting gifts and giving yourself breaks during work and chores. Alex talks about Disney and Adrian talks about serving. Okay, if you are reading this far Adrian edited this 4 hours before the post and is now falling asleep on the keys. He doesn't know what happened in the episode. Oh boy, this one is a doozy. First special guest Skyler sits down with Adrian and Alex for a conversation about sessions and how to balance for level one. Alex and Skyler keep Adrian out of the loop about Disney classics and sends the podcast into a tangent-palooza. It's wonderful to see this podcast is turning into an actual podcast.
