The party meets a strange priestess of the Deep Mother and learns that she has a plot to overthrow her son, who leads the followers of the Deep Father. The party takes some time to rest and check on Ruyn. Finding that she is still greatly hurt, they make her rest as Ivan, Flaffle, and Kazad test something with the strange fog around them.

The party finds their way out of the tomb. However, when they arrive, they find some of the others have left or are missing. For the time being, they choose to move on, hoping to run into them again.
