We could save a child from a burning building or fight in 5 different wars, become a millionaire or birth 8 wonderful children. All that is good but when you stand before GOD it all will not matter. Not as much as believing in HIM and knowing JESUS.

This is a song I wrote called Why Me GOD. I often wonder why the GOD of Heaven would leave his home in Heaven to come and suffer for me. Why me? But I am so glad that he did.

I like the story of Joshua because it shows that he had faith and tried to share that with others, He was surrounded by others who had been brought thru hardships and troubles yet they still doubted GOD. We can see that in our own walk today, we try to get others excited about how GOD is still working and blessing. Yet they doubt and resist.

We learn from Joshua that not everyone will listen when you claim victory over the enemy. As a spy he seen the Promised Land and knew they could take it. The other 10 spys were scared and doubted. We also learn that Joshua was in the heat of the battle and won many victories. Joshua was not just a military leader he was smart enough to listen to GOD. GOD would put in charge after Moses. Joshua led the Chosen People into many victories on the way to the Promised Land.

We can learn a lot from Samson. He was called by GOD to do certain things and given the strength and power to do it. But we know that he didn't always live as he should have, often doing things his own way. How about your walk? GOD has something for you to do, he gives you the strength and power to do it, are you doing it? Be Blessed.
