Dus Tarot

On August 17, 2025 I joined psychic medium and Soul coach Liz Throp on her live radio show “Psychic Hour,” broadcast worldwide on 4680Q Niagara Online Radio, to talk all things tarot and intuition.Host Pat Porter, Liz, and I dive into the history of tarot, how it evolved from playing cards, and why it still matters as a practical divination tool in a modern, skeptical world. We explore intuitive vs. book‑based reading, how symbolism and imagery in the cards act as prompts, and why trusting your inner guidance creates more accurate and empowering readings. You’ll hear real stories from my practice—including spooky‑looking cards like Death, the Devil, the Tower, 10 of Swords and how they actually point to transformation, toxicity, and liberation rather than doom.We also get into the “mirror principle,” manifestation, emotions vs. logic, and what happens when tarot, spirituality, and AI technology intersect.Toward the end of the show, I read live on air for Pat, for Liz, and then pull a collective card for everyone listening, offering guidance on getting off the fence and moving toward the life you actually want.Key topics in this episode• What tarot really is and how it grew out of card reading traditions• Intuitive vs. strict book meanings in tarot practice• The Hermit, Death, Devil, Tower, 10 of Swords, Wheel of Fortune, and Sun cards are explained in real‑world language• Using tarot as a grounding tool for your intuition, not a fear trigger• The mirror principle, manifestation, and balancing emotions with logic• Future of tarot in an AI‑driven world and why human connection still mattersChapters(00:00) Introduction to the show and guest(01:18) What is Tarot? Welcome to your August 2025 Monthly Tarotscopes! This month calls you inward - it's not about rushing toward answers but finding the right questions and having the patience to sit with them.

Using the Angel Wisdom Tarot and Divine Angel Oracle (chosen in honour of my dear friend Jackie Reid facing Stage 4 cancer), August's story is about reflection, realignment, and release. The Hermit asks us to step back from noise, Justice appears twice, reminding us balance comes through presence, not force, and Release shows sacred endings make space for new beginnings.

Key August Dates:

• Full Moon Aquarius (Aug 9) - Clarity about relationships
• Mercury Direct Leo (Aug 11) - Communication clears
• New Moon Virgo (Aug 23) - Perfect timing for grounded growth
• Venus enters Leo (Aug 25) - Amplifies passion in love

The Message: Honour your own timing. Don't let anyone else's urgency become your emergency.

July's asking you to stop and actually look at what you've accomplished. This isn't about checking boxes — it's about honoring how you got here and what that means. With Mercury retrograde in Leo and Venus in Gemini, how you communicate and the choices you've made are getting a second look. The Capricorn Full Moon (July 10) wants you to harvest what's actually solid in your life, while the Leo New Moon (July 24) asks you to move forward from your heart — not your ego.

Now that all twelve zodiac signs are live for June 30-July 6, 2025, the deeper pattern emerges. Six Major Arcana cards brought necessary transformation energy this week. If it felt intense, that was the point - real change doesn't ask permission, it just quietly rearranges everything until you're standing somewhere completely different. Trust what's shifting in your life.

Pisces, you're being asked to pour your healing energy back into the world while receiving what's being offered to you. The Star shows you've weathered something difficult and can see clearly again, while I Welcome reminds you to stop fighting the current and flow with what's actually happening. Trust that even hard experiences serve your growth.

Aquarius, take those big ideas and actually do something practical with them this week. The Page of Coins shows resources and opportunities coming your way, while Live for Love reminds you that whatever you build needs to serve something bigger than just your own success. Use what you're learning to help, not just accumulate.

Capricorn, whatever's crumbling in your life isn't your failure - it's life clearing out what wasn't meant to last. The Tower represents structures built more for appearance than authenticity, while Never Alone reminds you that even when everything falls apart, you have support that goes deeper than whatever just collapsed.

Sagittarius, you're being asked to own what you've built and use your creative power responsibly this week. The Nine of Coins shows you've developed the skill to focus your expansive energy and achieve something, while My Creative Power reminds you that your thoughts and vision shape what comes next. Be intentional about what you're creating.

Scorpio, real intimacy starts with recognizing your own worth this week. The Two of Cups shows you're ready for connection that goes beneath the surface, while I Am Light reminds you that you're worthy of love that sees all of who you are. Stop hiding your intensity - the right person will match your energy.

Libra, stop seeking everyone else's approval and start making decisions from your own authority this week. The Emperor shows you've earned the right to trust your judgment, while Welcoming Happiness asks you to welcome the joy you've already created through your efforts to grow and balance your life.
