It’s nice when you get the point that people know you. Dustin Kensrue was thoughtful enough to know me. Maybe because I was early on the Thrice bus (albeit, a van). Maybe because I came prepared, and curious about how his faith was un-compromised in his lyrics. And I’m talking about a rock music world that begs for artists to not “get in spiritual stuff.” This was my final interview with Dustin before he decided to leave Thrice for a more real life.
