We've been eager to connect with our lead installer, Ryan Jackman, for some time. We finally had the chance to sit down and discuss the crucial considerations for a successful dust collection installation. Many customers are unsure about the specifics, such as the required size of the concrete pad or whether the installation area is sufficiently clear of obstructions for crane access. Crazy story - we met Derek Shaffer in Orlando at Fabtech 2024 when he happened into our booth. He was there as a speaker to talk about his Phd research project from Penn State on additive manufacturing. Little did we know that he grew up just down the road from Imperial Systems. He now works at Ellwood National Forge, just north of us in Corry, PA. Donovan talks with him about his research and the future of manufacturing.
