Disney Starlight opening date

Walt Disney World’s first non-party night-time parade in nine years now has an opening date. Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will premiere on July 20th. Disney revealed the parade has nine different main sections of the parade listed with the opening float featuring the blue fairy and the final float featuring Mickey and Friends. Other sections include Moana, Frozen, Encanto, Coco, and Peter Pan. Final showtimes haven’t been announced.

DVC Welcome Home weeks announced for 2025

Disney Vacation Club has announced Welcome Home Weeks will return to the parks and resorts from August 14 to September 16th.

The extra perks offered include the following:

Free Mickey bars, ice cream sandwiches or fruit bars at select times in all 6 theme parks as well as Disney Springs and Saratoga Spring Preview center. Hilton Head and Vero Beach will also offer treats.

Welcome Home Wakeup morning coffee and treats will be offered at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.

Beach Club Refurbishment

From early June through September 2025, exterior maintenance work is planned for Disney's Beach Club Resort. The porte cocheres will be closed. However, all services, including valet parking, luggage assistance and transportation services, will remain available during the refurbishment.

More Rooms Declared at Riviera

On May 15th, Disney declared another 27 vacation homes into the Riviera Condo Association. Now 321 of the 341 vacation homes have been declared, or 94% of the resort, and all these rooms are available to book by members.
