In a move that may shatter the space-time continuum, Clark Douglas joins the Filibuster boys, bringing his calm demeanor and expansive knowledge of film into the fracas. Don't worry. Dave, Mac, and Mike eventually turn him to the dark side, as the quartet review Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, The Hangover, Direct Contact, Prison Break: Season Four, Lost: Season One (Blu-ray), Predator 2 (Blu-ray), DMX battles giant killer snakes in Carnivorous, Dolph Lundgren's greatest hits, public displays of drunkenness, action heroes that should have bought it, and, of course, Willow.

Inspired by recent additions to the Pixel Verdict family, Erich, Dave, Jon, and Tim come up with some socially inappropriate video game baby names before getting down to business with discussions about Crimson Gem Saga, Ghostbusters, Mario Kart Wii, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for the Wii, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Wheelie Breakers, and Protoype (sorry Steve, Dave likes it). A head-scratching news segment tackles Microsoft's next console, EA's marketing misstep, and why EGM subscribers need get to the mailbox before their wives and girlfriends do. To finish, this week's Symposium Ad Nauseum topic: Pushover Robot Bad Guys.

It's a wild and wooly return to our normal podcast format this week, as Erich, Dave, Adam, and Steve ramble their way through tangents, technical difficulties, innuendo, and the occasional video game talk. Dave hacks his way through a bargain bin purchase of Devil May Cry 4, Adam gets sucked back into World of Warcraft, Erich replays New Super Mario Bros., and Steve talks Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings before laying into Prototype. The crew puts a bow on E3 with final thoughts on games like Just Cause 2, Castlevania: Lord of Shadows, and Assassins Creed 2, leading into a discussion of which games they actually plan on buying before year's end. (Spoiler: Steve's going to buy everything.)

It's a bit-sized Couch, as Kent and Michelle plow through entertainment news to get to reviews of Smithsonian Channel's Loose at the Zoo and this week's installment of "Greaties of the '80s" -- Back to the Future Part III. Enjoy!

With E3 officially underway, Tim, Steve, Jon, and Erich tackle the near-opposite Nintendo and Sony press conferences. On the one hand, brand new Mario games, a mind-blowing Metroid announcement, and the head-scratching introduction of a so-called vitality sensor. On the other, two hours of blockbuster high-def gaming mixed with an awkward me too motion control demo and the unveiling of the not-so-secret PSP Go. It's Blu-ray vs. Blue Ocean and the boys have plenty to discuss. Plus, Steve, Tim, and Jon weigh in on Microsoft's showing with surprisingly mixed opinions.
