When we die to self, we no longer experience ourself as a separate and individual being. We experience evelasting peace. One of the reasons the peace is everlasting is there is no time. When we die to thinking of ourself as being separate, we disengage from the mind. It's the mind that creates time and the differenciated world.
How does this help us get through the day? It gives us perspective to see things more clearly and thereby make better choices. It also give us a perspective to retreat to where suffering does not exist because the mind is disengaged. After a "time out" we can re engage with the world with renewed energy and clarity.
This undifferentiated state is also described as "being present", "being in the flow", "being in the zone". In every case the mind has been disengaged. Ask yourself or anyone else if. they were thinking when they were in flow. It's spontaneous expression of BEING. There is no "self consciousness" because there is no individual self. The individual self is a construct of the mind. When the mind is not engaged (conscious and subconscious mind both) there is no creation.
When we're in the state of being, we are already all that could ever exist. There is no differentiation. The idea of being separate is gone along with every other idea.
Of course it is a challenge to describe what is beyond words. We can point in that direction though.
If you think you'd benefit from engaging with me in the differentiated world to gain greater clarity and acceptance in the world of the mind, contact me at [email protected] and we'll discuss what benefit we can create in this world.
My books, including "Being ONE" are available on Amazon. You can find links to them on my website, www.thoughtcoachingbyscott.com
If you'd like to share a win/win experience from your life as a podcast, let me know and we'll do that'. Part of what I want to do in the differentiated world is promote win/win as a way to help us experience being ONE.
