In this Halloween episode we play 3 scary (well, kind of) retro games. Mick screams at Aaah! Real Monsters, Andy Mac makes a heroic job of Ghouls and Ghosts and McCormick survives teenage drug addiction simulator Galerians.

One for the true Neddy heads as Andy and Mick give a literal blow by blow of martial arts epic Shenmue 2. Get yourself hyped for the long awaited sequel and discover the true meaning of kung fu.

Aero joins us again and gets insulted by James Pond 3: Operation Starfish. Mick plays poorly named PS2 brawler The Bouncer,  McCormick has a Flashback to the Sega Mega Drive era and Andy has his childhood ruined by Star Fox Adventures (with a special fanfiction feature to add insult to injury).

McCormick ponders the weirdly pacifist Cannon Fodder, Ruth punches Nazis in Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and Andy Mac tackles the Dark Souls of mascot platformers - Rolo to the Rescue. We're also finally tackling Andy's favourite Shenmue, which is apparently a cross between Enter the Dragon and Rain Man.

Join us on a very loosely themed episode where Aero serves drinks in VA-11 HALL-A (and consumes a few himself), McCormick torments a few people about Tides of Numenera and Mick dives into his own past to discuss The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis - part cutesy puzzle game for kids, part liberation manifesto. We also have a bash at identifying some weird Pokemon cards from Japan.

Andy experiences the best of Treasure in Astro Boy: Omega Factor, Mick experiences the other side of Golden Eye and McCormick dives deep into the Legacy of Kain with Soul Reaver 2. Stay tuned to the end for a powerful dramatic re-enactment...

Totally not a filler episode. The two Micks take a break from retro and recommend some newer games you can get on Steam - this time it's Slay the Spire and Long Live the Queen. 

Get yourself a bag of cans and settle in for the night, cos this is gonna be a long one. Andy Mac becomes Little Mac in Super Punch-Out! , Mick jumps right into Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, Leo solves petty chronological crimes in Where in Time is Carmen San Diego, and McCormick is haunted by Gregory Horror Show.
