The next team up on our 32 teams in 32 days is the Detroit Lions. For this episode, Rick recruited Detroit native and Lions super fan Brad Menendez and NFC North fan Rob “Sully” Sullivan to join him.

There is in depth talk on the immediate and longterm impact of T.J. Hockenson. Can he be a top tier fantasy option at TE? Will Jesse James vulture touchdowns and command more than the 33 targets he received in 2018 while with the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Matt Stafford is currently the 158th player off the board in regular dynasty ADP and the 100th player off the board in dynasty superflex. Is he being undervalued after a “down” season in which he had an injured back?

At wide receiver, the Lions have Kenny Golladay who is getting a lot of hype going into the 2019 season. His ADP has crept all the way up to 40. Is that too high for a player that was inconsistent when thrust into the WR1 position last year? Marvin Jones was hurt for most of 2018 and his drop in ADP to 92 has reflected that. Can he bounce back and be a fantasy option in 2019? Detroit brought in Danny Amendola, Jermain Kearse to go with a few leftovers. Will any of the other WR’s hold value?

Finally, at running back, the Lions have one of the most exciting and polarizing young running backs in Kerryon Johnson. Can he beat the injury bug and be a true workhorse? If he is injured, will C.J. Anderson, Zach Zenner or Ty Johnson become the workhorse, will they split, or will none hold any standalone value?

On the day that news broke that Chargers running back Melvin Gordon’s agent had requested a trade, Rick, Bridger & Sully talk about his holdout with varying opinions. In July, Gordon had an RotoHeat ADP of #9 overall and the trio agrees that he will likely drop a full round, if not more.

If Melvin is to miss time, can Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson return fantasy value and which player would the HeatSeekers rather have on their rosters? Could a new running back step in if the Chargers are forced to trade Gordon?

At wide receiver, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were the talk of the pod. Allen comes in at #26 in ADP, is that low? Williams comes in at #50 overall. Is that high? Over at the tight end position, Hunter Henry, the #70 overall player was a hot topic of debate.
