Tim and Jeff start out the podcast talking about the red hot St. Louis Cardinals
who put the Padres and the Reds in the trash on the way to a 10 game winning
streak and a 4 game lead in the 2nd wild card in the NL. Baseball is fun!
Then on to Jeff's distastrous picks (0-6 to start the year) and Tim's not so
disastrous and what happened in week 2 of the NFL.
Then they preview week 3 in the NFL with a side conversation about what in the
world the Bears and doing with their quarterback situation and how they are
screwing it up. And then of course, Jeff's guaranteed to lose picks and some
survivor picks and strategy.

Tim and Jeff recap how badly Jeff did in his picks and survivor in Week 1 and
what happened in all the big games. They talk about what surprised them for the
good (Houston and Dallas) and for the bad (Green Bay and Jacksonville and
Chicago).
Then on to Week 2 to try to figure out what is real and what is just
Overreaction Week(tm) fodder with their top games of the week, their three picks
and survivor picks of the week. Does Tim sway Jeff to change his?
Tim's Ohio State was also upset this week but he is not fully upset about it.
USMNT gets a win in Honduras to take the pressure off and Djokovic doesn't
complete the calendar slam in men's tennis.
Oh and watch out for the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card race in the NL -

It's week 1 of the NFL! Tim and Jeff cover the biggest 5 games of the new
season (Tampa Bay v Dallas, Kansas City v Cleveland, LA Chargers v Washington
and Green Bay v New Orleans) Then on to their best bets of the week and their
Survivor contest strategies.
And also, since they missed it last week, the SEC preview - hint, its Alabama
and Georgia.
And then a mini rant from Jeff about the US soccer team as they struggle to
start their World Cup Qualifying schedule.
